Durham Region is one of the fastest growing sectors.  Whitby surpassed it's projected growth plan much sooner than anticipated a whopping +18%/year.   It is close enough to Toronto via the GO to make it easy to see theater, go shopping, enjoy the harbour, or go to the market!  Pretty yet booming Brooklin is the place for you t407o go if you like the hustle and bustle but like the small town atmosphere.  Down town Brooklin has lovely shops and who know's how much more it will grow the the 407 and the widening of Highway 7 (Winchester Rd.)

What about Oshawa?  Or affectionally known as the Shwa.  Nice homes, affordable!  You will find you get good value. Home of the Oshawa Generals (Hockey) and the General Motors Centre.  A wonderful new venue for all of Durham Region.  Watch Hockey, see shows-all kinds for the family, and different musical talents.  To check the GM Centre and perhaps take in a show.  Oshawa is one of the fewest cities of having a full service airport!

Now what if you want peace and quiet, small town, with the convience of an easy commute?  Then check out Uxbridge!  Whether you enjoy hiking through Durham Forest, sledding, skiing, riding, and of course GOLF or just enjoying a quieter lifestyle this is the place for you!  Minutes to the 404, just north of Pickering off of Brock this is a little hideaway from the everyday hustle and bustle.
